In what the NY Post described as a “gripe session”, Disney CEO Michael Eisner told executives in attendance at a closed-door meeting that he “thinks it’s a bad idea to split the roles of chairman and CEO”. He also “indicated Disney Chairman George Mitchell is not eager to keep the position for the long-term, saying Mitchell ‘can’t wait to get out'”.
