Following the closure of Walt Disney Feature Animation-Florida, a group of animators, led by studio veteran Eddie Pittman, forged ahead with a plan to keep Walt Disney’s traditional style of animation alive, by opening Legacy Animation Studios. Chris Douvalas over at Animated Buzz recently spoke to Pittman about the first couple of months of operation, and where the challenges in the young studio’s future lie.

Staying with the same topic, Chris also talks to former Disney and Warners animator Mike Disa about the state of 2D vs 3D animation and where it’s all headed. Thanks to Chris for the heads up on these two interesting pieces!
