An article yesterday in the Orange County Register (free subscription required to read article online) reports that “Since the death (or severe illness) of drive-in theaters, people have flocked to cemeteries, pools, beaches, lakes, office rooftops and library courtyards, among other places, to see a flick outside.” To view a schedule of animated movies known to be screening so far this summer – even if you don’t live anywhere near Orange County or aren’t planning a summer trip to Disneyland – follow the “More…” link if you are interested in finding out what a “dive-in” movie is (apparently it’s an appropriate way to watch Finding Nemo).
