Yesterday’s Orange County Register reported on Disneyland’s newly unveiled plans for celebrating its 50th anniversary. Part of the 18-month celebration includes opening a new ride called Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, “an interactive attraction in Tomorrowland,” which allows participants to fight the evil Emperor Zurg. There are also rumors that the closed-down Submarine ride will re-open with a Finding Nemo theme, which apparently is an update of an old rumor that the attraction would take on a Little Mermaid theme.
