Meanwhile, the board reiterated its support for Eisner, whose tenure ends September 2006, and stressed the need to consider external candidates in addition to Eisner’s choice, president Bob Iger. The board will focus on finding a replacement for retiring chairman George Mitchell after it announces the new CEO”.
