Early word has it that we should be seeing the teaser trailer for John Lasseter’s next Pixar effort (and the last to be distributed by Disney), Cars, attached to prints of this November’s The Incredibles, directed by Brad Bird. “The script has been recorded and the animation is almost done [for the teaser]”, our source says. The news isn’t a great surprise, since Pixar have always sparked word of mouth for their next releases during promotion for their current films. However, it remains to be seen, come the release of Cars, whether Disney will allow them to push their 2006 project, so far known as Rats (or was that what Micheal Eisner was thinking when Pixar walked?).
