TV Guide reports that the animated Buffy the Vampire Slayer series is back on track, despite the absence of Sarah Michelle Gellar from the cast. Replacing Gellar will be Giselle Loren, who provided the voice of Buffy in the video game. Returning cast members include Alyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon and Anthony Stewart Head. The pilot will be shown to potential distributors next month.
