Scripts and screenplays – methods commonly known to not work in the production of an animated feature – are now king in future Disney projects. Animation vets complain about this latest production policy change at WDFA. This means that only projects with screenplays that Disney executives approve of will now be allowed to begin artistic development at the studio. Jim Hill has the story.
