According to AWN former animators of the now defunct Disney Feature Animation facility in Orlando may have more opportunites to find work without having to move back to California. Raven Animation Inc., formed by Raven Moon Entertainment, plans to run a studio in the Orlando area. Raven Moon CEO Joey DiFrancesco said, “Because of the new animated television programs that Raven Moon has set for development in 2004, including the award-winning Mr. Bicycle Man, The Bobo Blocks and The Cuddle Bug Cousins, picking up these out of work animators is a good move for Raven Moon. Our company is growing and expanding and these former Disney/MGM animators will definitely be an asset to our company”. As previously reported, Legacy Animation was also recently created in the Orlando area to target former Disney animators.
