‘MusicFan’ has alerted us to a little bit of info he’s found on the screenwriter of DreamWorks as yet unannounced Rex Havoc feature. Panellists at this year’s Austin Film Festival Site (running October 14-21) include many names that will be known to animation and film fans. A little down the list, though, is one Scott Rosenberg, credited with the screenplays for films such as Things To Do In Denver When You’re Dead, Con Air, Gone in Sixty Seconds, High Fidelity (co-writer), and Kangaroo Jack. The brief resume ends with the line: “Currently, Scott is writing Rex Havoc for DreamWorks animation, Let’s Get Harry for Sony, and The Sentinel for Universal”.

In somewhat related news, ‘MusicFan’ also reports that Pixar have registered the domain ‘ratatouillesucks.org’, perhaps in preperation for their first post-Disney film, which has already changed titles from Ratatouille to Rats. Could this be a new title?
