DavisDVD has Columbia TriStar’s January release slate, which includes (finally!) The Critic: The Entire Series on the 27th. The show debuted in 1994, on ABC before being cancelled. It was picked up by FOX where it ran for another season (including a guest apperance by Critic Jay Sherman on a crossover episode of The Simpsons) before being, once again, cancelled. And in 2001, Shockwave.com and Atomfilms.com posted 10 new mini-episodes of The Critic exclusively on the internet. Comedy Central has the broadcast rights now and occasionally airs the show in late night reruns. Co-creators Al Jean and Mike Reiss were producers on The Simpsons.

Other Columbia TriStar titles of interest on the January slate include: The New Adventures Of Spider-Man: Season One on the 13th; Dilbert: The Complete Series on the 20th; and Labyrinth: Collectors’ Edition Box Set on the 27th.
