Animation Magazine reports that the classic 80’s animated series Robotech is coming to DVD on January 27, 2004. The first volume of Robotech Remastered: Extended Edition will include the first 12 episodes. “This newest release features a digital transfer from the original film stock and includes footage cut from the original broadcast version. In addition, the audio has been restored and remixed. Two new audio tracks will be included; the original English-language dub in digital 5.1 sound and a Spanish-language digital 5.1 track.
