Timing in nicely with the release of the documentary on DVD, FrankAnOllie’s personal website has had a facelift, courtesy of new hosts Animation World Network! The site, originated and about the legendary Disney animators, features their personal tips on animation, background histories and their work, and fun with “new” characters Revilo and Nilknarf (Franklin and Oliver backwards). New to the site itself, apart from the fresh look, are Tales From The Table, a series of QuickTime clips that feature new interviews with the pair, covering topics such as Fantasia‘s Pastoral and Dance Of The Hours sequences, and the origins of the “Nine Old Men”. Also, since it seems to be hard to find for some in stores such as Target, Best Buy and Wal-Mart, there’s a link to purchase the new SE DVD online. So spend an hour or so checking out what Frank and Ollie have to offer – it’s well worth it!
