The famous animation historian John Canemaker will host a presentation of his new book The Art and Flair of Mary Blair on November 7th at LACMA, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Blair, a prolific and gifted designer/colorist, was one of the few woman artists to reach the top creative rungs at the Disney studio. She profoundly influenced the color and design of many classic Disney animated features, including The Three Caballeros, Cinderella and Peter Pan.
