In keeping with our long-standing tradition of reporting only the hard, solid, verifiable facts we will now begin reporting any dream that anybody connected with the animation industry in any way feels free to relate to others over the Internet. Larry Pontius, author of “Waking Walt,” has contributed a recent article to Jim Hill Media in which he relates a dream he had about the current crisis at The Walt Disney Company. And, yes, Roy’s uncle is in the dream. Read the article and decide for yourself what the interpretation is. Or consult your favorite dream dictionary.

Also, Jerry Beck’s Cartoon Research page points us to a page started by Roy Disney and Stanley Gold themselves called Save Disney that provides an online rallying point for their cause.

And if that wasn’t enough, The Disney Tribune has a link to a New York Post article about how newly appointed Disney board member John Chen has already begun to criticize the corporate governance of the company.

Had enough yet? If not, check out the article by Rick Aristotle Munarriz at Motley Fool (link discovered at Mice Age) about ways in which Michael Eisner might be able to win back some of his praise from yesteryear with one of Rick’s contentions being “Life isn’t about the friends you make. It’s about the enemies you don’t make,” and these words of wisdom: “Creative minds need room to expand with flexible boundaries. Sure, chime in, but don’t go for the jugular and whip out the spleen. Don’t pollute. Pollinate. Don’t expire. Inspire.”
