Today sees the wide release on DVD of the warm and affectionate 1995 documentary Frank And Ollie, an inside look at the lives of two of Walt’s fabled “Nine Old Men”. Previously available on a pan-and-scan VHS, this new Special Edition goes some way to cheering up those who were left disappointed by the delay in the Walt Disney Treasure releases this year. Various online sources are listing several variances in this particular title, but picture wise, it looks to be in its original 1.85:1 apsect ratio, though whether this is 16×9 anamorphic is not confirmed.
The 89 minute film, rated PG, also features a Dolby 5.1 track. The DVD includes:

Some outlets are also reporting that the 1995 Mickey Mouse short Runaway Brain, which pays tribute to the duo by having a character named Dr Frankenollie, is also included. However, until discs start filtering through and specs are confirmed, this information is tentative.
