The California Supreme Court will review a lower court ruling that holds Disneyland “to the same passenger safety requirements as operators of buses, trains, taxi cabs, escalators and ski lifts” according to The L.A. Times. Disney believes the higher standard should not apply since amusement park rides are entertainment not public transportation. If the ruling stands park officials say rides will become slower and more boring.
