Spanish international sales company Lumina Films has acquired overseas sales rights outside Spain to the Spanish 3D animated feature film Midsummer Dream.
The movie is produced by Galicia-based Dygra Films, the creators of The Living Forest, which was a box office hit in Spain.
Based on the Shakespeare play, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” this “Dream” began production in June 2002. It is co-produced by Portugal’s Appia Filmes and budgeted at 8 million euros ($8.6 million).
The movie is slated for a July 2005 release in Europe.
