First off, we’ve got Looney Tunes: The Golden Collection – a 4-disc set of 56 fully restored, uncensored Looney Tunes and Merry Melodies shorts from Warner Bros. Now, even though there are 3 other Looney Tunes-related titles being released today, remember to just “Go for the Gold!!” This set has everything the Premiere Collection has, and more. Plus, if you want to see such classics like “What’s Opera, Doc?” or “One Froggy Evening” released, then making this first wave a sales hit will guarantee that Warners release more!!
In other news, a first season box set of SpongeBob SquarePants has been unleashed today, as well as the highly acclaimed anime film Millennium Actress. As previously mentioned at AN, Space Jam: Special Edition has been released today, along with all the other Looney Tunes sets. The dark, angsty Marvel film Hulk, with some pretty impressive CG animation, arrives today as well.
