A photo of a document from an unknown source claiming to be an official schedule for Disney’s upcoming D23 convention has been making its way around the internet, providing what could be previously unrevealed release dates for several upcoming Disney movies, as well as announcements on unknown projects. These include, most notably, release dates for the sequels to Frozen and The Incredibles, but also information on Cars 3 and a handful of untitled movies.

Now, on the one hand, the document does look and seem legit. The release date for The Incredibles 2 especially makes sense, as that would give Brad Bird plenty of time to work on it once he’s finished with Tomorrowland (assuming, of course, that he returns to direct). Similarly, the release date for Frozen 2 also seems about right, with the Thanksgiving weekend directly matching the 2013 opening of the original film.

On the other hand, other aspects seem a bit fishy. While a new Tinker Bell film wouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone at this point, a five year gap between movies would be the longest that the franchise has ever had. It also seems most likely that Disney would use their convention as a platform to announce a release date for Frozen 2, since that sequel was literally just announced and they would probably have nothing–not even early concept art–to show off to fans. Lastly, it’s notable that April Fool’s Day did take place only days ago, and this entire document could just be a prank that actually succeeded in fooling people. In any case, we probably won’t know for sure if any of these release dates–or projects–are accurate until the D23 convention takes place in August. In the meantime, take a look at the alleged “document” for yourself below and decide what you think.
