Time to rejoice Studio Ghibli fans! The much loved Japanese animation studio has just added two new films from their most acclaimed directors- Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata, to their upcoming slate, reports Collider. The Wind Rises (Kaze Tachinu), the new film by Hayao Miyazaki centers on Jiro Horikoshi, the man who designed the Zero Fighter used by Japanese pilots in World War II. The second film added to their list is from director Isao Takahata (Grave of the Fireflies) titled Princess Kaguya Story (Kaguya-Hime no Monogatari). The film is reportedly based on the Japanese folk story Tale of the Bamboo Cutter which was also referenced in Takahata’s My Neighbors the Yamadas.
