Mister_Mater (42k image)On Friday, May 26, 2006, the premiere for Disney/Pixar’s Cars was held at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. Alongside their big screen counterparts, life-size incarnations of the characters Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater and Sally Carrera were present at the event. Flash forward to September 14-17, when the replicas made one more appearance at the track, during the Food Lion Auto Fair.
