20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios’ Robots topped the box office this weekend, with an estimated $36.5 million. The numbers bring in the second best March opening for a film, only behind Fox/Blue Sky’s previous collaboration Ice Age, which brought in $46.3 million. Reviews for Robots were mixed but leaning on the positive side with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 64%.

In related news, Pooh’s Heffalump Movie finished its fifth weekend with $0.3 million, while Son of the Mask mareked its fourth weekend with $0.2 million. The films have thus far grossed $17.5 million and $16.4 million.
