TJ Miller announced for Emoji Movie: Express Yourself on World Emoji Day

In celebration of World Emoji Day on July 17, Sony Pictures Animation announced the casting of TJ Miller (Big Hero 6, How to Train Your Dragon) as the voice of main character Gene in their upcoming feature Emoji Movie: Express Yourself by releasing a mock audition video. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters August 11, 2017.

Emoji Movie: Express Yourself reveals the Secret World inside your phone. It’s a world where Emojis come alive (when they’re not being texted) and journey through Apps, each one its own wild and fun world, to get to their ultimate destination: The Cloud. It’s the App-venture of a lifetime! The animated comedy is directed by Anthony Leondis and produced by Michelle Raimo Kouyate.
