Finding Dory opens

Pixar’s Finding Dory[1] opens today in 4,305 theatres according to Box Office Mojo[2]. The film is a hit with the critics, earning a huge 95% on Rotten Tomatoes[3]. Their consensus: “Funny, poignant, and thought-provoking, Finding Dory delivers a beautifully animated adventure that adds another entertaining chapter to its predecessor’s classic story.” BOM[4] is predicting it will break the record currently held by Shrek the Third for largest animated film opening weekend with $124.85 million. Box Office Prophets[5] projects a similar, but just short of the record, $120.2 million.
