Cartoon Brew reports that in 1960, LIFE magazine did an article about Hanna-Barbera’s The Flintstones which included three behind the scenes photos. “But what they didn’t publish is even more amazing. Photographer Allan Grant took 850 photographs for the magazine assignment, documenting every part of the studio’s operations. Remarkably, all of those photos are now available to view online in the LIFE Photo Collection.” The Brew has 15 highlights from the collection. Following up on that report, Yowp, a site about early Hanna-Barbera cartoons, pulled out some more highlights and added their own annotations.
