Thunderbirds reboot on the way

Thunderbirds, the campy British TV series featuring puppets which inspired both a live-action movie in 2004 and Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s raunchy Team America: World Police, is making a comeback, Screen Rant[1] is reporting. The reboot will come from WETA Workshop, the special effects powerhouse behind The Lord of the Rings, Rise of the Planet of the Apes and more, and will feature a combination of animation and live-action. Don’t get ready to chant “Thunderbirds are go!” just yet, though, as the series is not set to make its debut in the United Kingdom until 2015.
