A preview of Disney’s Wander Over Yonder

Among the many things previewed at Disney’s D23 last weekend was Disney Channel’s upcoming Wander Over Yonder, a cartoon show that focuses on an overly optimistic space traveler going across the galaxy and facing off against the appropriately named Lord Hater.  The show comes from Craig McCracken and his co-producer wife Lauren Faust, with the team’s previous credits including Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends and The Powerpuff Girls. “I have enjoyed their work for a long, long time, and I kinda sought them out: ‘If you ever have anything you’re working on that I might be able to have the smallest part on, please, please keep me in mind,'” Jack McBrayer–the voice of Wander–said to The Hollywood Reporter[1]. “It was probably the best meeting I ever took.” Also featuring April Winchell, Keith Ferguson and Tom Kenny, Wander Over Yonder is set to preview on the Disney Channel in August before having its official premiere in September.
