The Secret World of Arrietty opens

The Secret World of Arrietty[1] opens in the United States today in 1,522 theatres according to Box Office Mojo[2]. The film has a fresh 92% rating at Rotten Tomatoes[3] (with a 100% score from just the Top Critics). Box Office Prophets[4] predicts an 8th place opening weekend finish with $6.4 million. It’s already grossed over $125 million worldwide. The Studio Ghibli film was originally released in Japan in 2010. Since then Disney has been working their magic to get it ready for American audiences. Animation Magazine[5] has a look at that process.
