Classic anime cannot be beat, especially when they are reinvigorated by new projects. Anime News Network[1] reports that Ishimori Productions is working on adapting Cyborg 009[2] with Joseph DeSanto of The Spirit attached as producer. Also Akira Toriyama[3] is involved in a new Dragon Ball Z film, the first one he has worked on in such depth. The release date is set for March 30. Both series aired on Cartoon Network in the early 2000s, though DBZ was more popular than the former.
