American Dad!, The Penguins of Madagascar, Bob’s Burgers, Futurama and The Simpsons have all scored nominations for Outstanding Animated Program at this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards. For Short Format Animated Program, the nominations were Phineas and Ferb, Robot Chicken, MAD TV, Adventure Time and Regular Show. And for Voice Over Performance, the nominations were Dan Povenmire as Dr. Doofenshmirtz for Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension, Maurice LaMarche for a number of characters on Futurama, Hank Azaria for a number of characters on The Simpsons, Kirsten Wigg as Lola Rabbit on The Looney Tunes Show and Rob Riggle as Noel in Disney’s Prep and Landing 2: Naughty Vs. Nice. Prep and Landing also got a nomination for Music Composition for a Miniseries, Movie or Special. A full list of this year’s Emmy nominations can be found here.
