Disney Characters Get the Paris Treatment

Remember a few months ago when images of Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, and Donald appeared on the Internet in haute coutre fashion with thinner character designs? Controversary[1] has, of course, sprung up over the skinnified versions. The characters were given a makeover for the Barneys New York Electric Holiday[2] advertising campaign. Minnie dreams about going to Paris and becoming a model. She and several other Disney faces along with some animated celebs tour the Paris fashion world, while Minnie and friends model animated versions of real clothing. The cartoon will air in Barneys New York store on a loop.
