Studio Ghibli recently announced two new projects by its co-founders Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata, reports TwitchFilm[1]. Miyazaki is reported to be working on an “autobiography”. No further details have been announced by the studio and it is still unclear if Miyazaki is working on his own autobiography or adapting someone else’s. Isao Takahata (Grave of the Fireflies) is reportedly working on a new film based on the classic Japanese folk tale about a princess who was discovered as a baby inside the stalk of a bamboo plant. Takahata directed his last feature film My Neighbors the Yamadas in 1999.
