Even though it’s apparently not coming to theaters until the summer of 2013, an early promotional image for Universal’s Despicable Me 2 has been revealed at this year’s Licensing International Expo, and can be seen at ComingSoon.net. Nothing is known about the sequel’s plot at this point, but if the poster is any indication, the popular Minion characters from the first film will be back for more fun.

UPDATE: The site now has several early promotional images for a number of upcoming animated films, including Rise of the Guardians, The Pirates!, Madagascar 3, Arthur Christmas and The Croods. The full gallery of images from the event can be found here.
