The official logo for Pixar’s upcoming feature Monsters University was unveiled recently and can be seen at Collider. The site also reports that the Monsters, Inc. prequel which was earlier scheduled for a 2012 release, will now open in theatres on June 21, 2013. Disney had announced earlier that Dan Scanlon will make his feature-length directorial debut with Monsters University. Scanlon has previously worked as a story artist on Toy Story 3, and helmed the Cars-related Pixar short Mater and the Ghostlight.
