Monsters, Inc. 2 plot details, a prequel?

Collider[1] has details on the plot for Monsters, Inc. 2 which may be a prequel instead of a sequel. Mike and Sully will return in a brand new movie about their adventures while they attended Fear University and how they became best friends, years before their escapade at Monsters, Inc. with Boo. To get the best story possible, Pixar is constantly changing their plotlines, so this idea may or may not make it to the silver screen. Monsters, Inc. 2 is set to hit theaters November 2, 2012.
