MacFarlene: “There will be a Family Guy movie”

While presenting at Comic-Con today, Seth MacFarlene said that there are indeed plans to make a Family Guy movie, something that has been speculated about for years. On the show’s official Twitter page[1], Macfarlene is quoted as saying that “Yes, there will be a Family Guy movie. We know what it’s going to be, but we just haven’t had the time yet.” That is not surprising to hear, as MacFarlene, of course, is apparently a busy guy most of the time, with three animated shows on FOX (with the others being the well-reviewed American Dad! and the not-so-well reviewed Cleveland Show), a live-action movie called Ted, as well as a Flintstones television reboot.
