Is South Park about to enter its final season?

Comedy Central’s long-running adult cartoon series South Park is going to start its fifteenth season this week…but will it be the last one? Screen Rant[1] examines why that could possibly be the case, with reasons including that the show’s contract is about to expire and the large ammount of controversy surrounding a joke in the Cartoon Wars episode involving  Muhammad that put the cable channel under fire from groups on both sides of the debate. Whatever the future may hold for the show, South Park fans can look forward to at least one new batch of episodes starting on Wednesday night.
