DreamWorks, Dragon take home the Annies

DreamWorks was once again the big winner at the Annie Awards (though Disney and Pixar cut their involvement[1] with animation’s highest honor this time out). Toy Story 3 may be an Oscar nominee for Best Picture, but How To Train Your Dragon won the Best Animated Feature Annie. Pixar’s Day & Night won Best Animated Short Subject and Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants took home the award for Best Animated Television Production for Children. All told Dragon won 10 prizes, while DreamWorks won in 15 of the 17 categories it had a nomination in. The full list of nominations and winners is online here[2].
