Tangled has a fantastic Friday

Nearly doubling expectations, Disney’s Tangled saw a fantastic Black Friday take of $19 million, Box Office Mojo[1] is reporting. The number is only $1 million behind that of Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, which was expected to have a much stronger lead on the animated fairy tale. If things keep up the way they are, Tangled could see a very good opening weekend of $45-55 million.
