Shrek Forever After to open Tribeca Film Festival

Collider[1] reports that Shrek Forever After will be the opening night film at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 21. Shrek Forever After will be the second animated film to open a major film festival after Pixar’s Up which was the opening night film at Cannes last year. DreamWorks animation and Paramount’s fourth and final chapter in the Shrek franchise will open in theatres nationwide in 3D on May 21.
