Mighty Mouse movie back in development

According to the LA Times, a Mighty Mouse movie is once again in the works[1] at Paramount, though the studio is still looking for a writer and director for the flick. A Mighty Mouse movie has been in development at the studio for several years, with many different writers attempting to craft a script for the film in the past. However, with the success of Alvin And The Chipmunks proving classic cartoon characters can still bring in big bucks on the big screen, Paramount has put the creation of Mighty Mouse on the fast track.
