[1]It’s a simple fact that kids the world over like cartoons and medical professionals are using animation as a tool to connect with them. In India, the non-profit TeachAIDS organization created an animated tutorial to teach AIDS/HIV awareness to children, detailed in this article[2] from The Hindu. In Mexico City, Dr. Julia Borbolla invented an animated therapy program using cartoon aliens called “Antenas” to interact with children on a non-threatening level, more in the article[3] from The New York Times.
