Alice in Wonderland makes $1 billion worldwide

Probably surpassing virtually everyone’s expectations about it, Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland has surpassed the $1 billion mark[1] worldwide and has become one of the highest grossing movies of all time. Only five other films in the history of cinema have been able to make that much in worldwide receipts. The live action/animated Disney movie comes to DVD and Blu-Ray in the US this Tuesday.
