The Princess and the Frog Makes #1!

As expected following its Friday gross report[1], Disney’s newest animated masterpiece, The Princess and the Frog made #1 at the United States box office.

Yahoo, via the Associated Press[2], reports that The Princess and the Frog made US$25 million, dethroning last weekend’s number 1, the Sandra Bullock docu-drama The Blind Side, which fell to number 2 with US$15.5 million for an overall gross of US$150.2 million.

Number 3 went to the Clint Eastwood-directed Nelson Mandela drama Invictus, which made US$9.1 million.

Please note that box office numbers may change prior to the release of final numbers on Monday (12/14).
