Fox picks up two more Simpsons seasons

According to Variety[1], Fox Network has picked up two more seasons of it’s hugely popular animated sitcom, The Simpsons. This action will drive the show into it’s 22nd season, making it TV’s longest-running prime time entertainment series. The 44-segment renewal will boost the show’s episode count to a staggering number of 493.
