The Fox TV network, already home to more prime time animated series’ than any other network, is adding two more to the lineup. Variety[1] says Fox won the bidding on the Matthew McConaughey produced Rooster Tales, based on the life of the actor’s real life brother. “”My brother’s life is so unbelievable, we had to animate it”, McConaughey said. The show “follows the world of a beer-swilling, redneck sheriff who marries a much younger woman from Mexico. The man soon realizes, however, that he’s gained not only a wife but an entire clan — 114 members and counting.” Reuters[2] reports that Fox has also ordered up Bob’s Burgers, from Home Movies co-creator Loren Bouchard. “The project is set at a seaside East Coast town and centers on Bob, a creative grill man who runs a struggling burger joint with his tightly wound wife and their three unhelpful kids.”
