Waltz with Bashir to represent Israel at Oscars

[1]Waltz with Bashir[2], Ari Folman’s critically acclaimed animated documentary about the 1982 Lebanon War, will be Israel’s official entry in the Foreign Language Film category for the 81st Academy Awards. Based on a true story, the film is a quest into the director’s memory for the missing pieces from the days of the Lebanon War in the mid 80s. Waltz with Bashir has been rated R by MPAA for its limited release in theatres starting December 25. The film has been certified fresh by RottenTomatoes[3] with 85% fresh ratings on their tomatometer. Links to a trailer for the film can be found here[4].
