Over at Animated Views[1], we’ve a selection of articles celebrating the arrival of Disney’s One Hundred And One Dalmatians in a new 2-disc Platinum Edition DVD, including several interviews with cast, crew and fans of Walt’s canine classic from our resident interviewer Jeremie Noyer:

• Mel Leven’s son Bill Leven[2] remembers his Cruella de Vil songwriting dad!
• Disney Legend Alice Davis[3] on Cruella’s artist, Disney Legend Marc Davis!
• Vocal actress Lisa Davis[4] on becoming Dalmatians’ Anita Radcliffe!
• Animation expert Andreas Deja[5] looks back on a dog-gone Disney classic!

Rounding out our Dalmatian celebrations, is our extensive Platinum Edition review[6] of the DVD, a “surprisingly strong showing for the series, with a solid restoration and perfectly formed extras. The brilliant film is worth the pick up and you’ll find a supplement package that may feel light at first but actually contains some wonderful gems”.
