Newport Beach Film Festival 2008 Animation

newportbeach2008_m.pngThe Newport Beach Film Festival has just released its film schedule for its 2008 run including many animated pieces[1]. A highlight of their animated offerings will be their Roy Disney Presents evening at the Regency Lido Theatre on Wednesday, April 30. “Join noted filmmaker and Disney animation authority Roy E. Disney and noted film producer Don Hahn for an unforgettable evening as they present a collection of rarely seen Disney animated treasures including test footage and Academy Award-nominated shorts.” View more info and purchase tickets at the event’s official page[2]. Also of interest to animation fans are Good Ol’ Charles Schulz[3] and The Pixar Story[4].
